Through an elderly mother’s eyes – A poem in e

(Even though we might have gone through a similar situation in the past we don’t hesitate to judge others. Mothers face a lot of criticism even by other mothers. Let us all be kind.)

Nested between the greens
Red chests peeped
They seemed neglected
Helplessly they cry
They fret weep
They deserve better

Then she emerged
Red between greens
Her neck bled
Yet selflessly she fed
She fed them
They grew, they flew

She reflected me
